Double Deflection Grille
Two independently adjustable blade sets for directional supply-air control and accurate throw adjustment.
High-free-area aluminium grid core for low-resistance return and exhaust air with minimal sight obstruction.
Egg-crate grilles use a lightweight aluminium lattice to provide a large effective free area and straight-through airflow. They are commonly installed in ceiling return plenums and exhaust openings where low pressure drop matters. Removable cores simplify filter and plenum access when detailed with the correct frame.
Typical construction information for early coordination. Final values are governed by the selected model, approved material and project design.
| Core | Aluminium egg-crate lattice |
|---|---|
| Typical cell | 12.7 u00d7 12.7 u00d7 12.7 mm; alternatives on request |
| Frame | Extruded aluminium, lay-in or surface-mount profiles |
| Free area | High open area; exact value by core geometry |
| Finish | Mill, anodized or powder coated |
| Sizes | Custom and standard ceiling-module dimensions |
Free area and pressure drop vary with core depth and cell size; final selection should use the manufacturer’s performance data at design airflow.
